music: Paparazzi - Lady Gaga

Ugh being sick really sucks. I've been sporting a very sore sore throat since last week, and only just got better yesterday, so I haven't been out and about enjoying my holidays as I ought to. *sigh*

Just bought a lolita-worthy top from Tightrope, a very cute dress from Chinatown, and a petticoat from St Vincent's. I'll start off with the petticoat as it's my best buy. $6 for a FOUR layer underskirt. It's a little long, but it's still great.

Very pretty, and quite versatile too if you ask me. It's very reminiscent of a Baby, the Stars Shine Bright piece:





Baby, the Stars Shine Bright is one of my favourite lolita brands of all time. It's up there with Victorian Maiden, Mary Magdalene, and Angelic Pretty on my Japanese Fashion Brands list. And I love how some of their blouses and cutsews can be paired with just a simple pair of skinnies if one can't be bothered to dress as a lolita. Lovely!

And finally, my favourite dress at the moment, which I bought before I got sick:





Here with my favourite cameo brooch, which I bought from Salvation Army eons ago. The dress is so cute, I wore it when I was out with friends watching Spontaneous Broadway at the Sydney Opera House. I shall be wearing this a lot methinks!

That dress is fabulous! I remember being obsessed with BTSSB, but I think I eventually lost interest as my father never cared to spend that much money on me... lol :'(

The dress is definitely fabulous! I think it gorgeous and I really want to go dress-shoping (if I had any money). However, summer isn't turning out to be that way for me.
