Tonight was the Parade for Chinese New Year in Sydney, and my friend and I decided to go. Besides the sweltering night and the hundreds of people all trying to push their way to the front, I must say it was a great parade.
But I’m getting ahead of myself, so let’s start at the beginning.
First, while I was waiting for my friend to arrive, I spotted a massive crowd outside my favourite Sussex Centre. Upon closer inspection, it was because a group of people were giving away lucky charms! Lucky me!
We then had a quick Thai dinner before heading off to watch the parade, while at the same time wondering why the parade was a whole week after CNY took place.
Dixon Street, where we were standing, is already a small place at its least packed. But put hundreds of people there at the same time and what you get is a stifling crowd that pushed and shoved you out of the way just so they can get to the front.
We had enough of that rude crowd, so we decided to leave and head off to the roomier George St. On the way, we couldn’t resist stopping by Easy Way for a refreshing Bubble Tea.
And of course, where would we be without Engrish, right?
And finally, outfit shot! I wore the dress I got from Baby today 
Here’s to the Year of my favourite animal: the Tiger. May it grant me incredible luck in grades to get to Honours.

I hate crowds… but if I had a chance, I'd deffinitely go and see such parade, sounds like fun *-*.

Aww your daughter's so cute! I hope she continues to be obssessed with this beautiful creature. I've loved tigers since I can remember, I even submitted an "essay" (if it can even be called that) about why we need to save white tigers to my teacher in year 7.
