Found it! A drawing of a gryphon that I did when I was around 10 or 11 years old
I believe that dragons existed in the past, and they never really left this world. They are simply in a deep, enchanted sleep, their dreams filled with visions of an ancient world, waiting for a hero to come and wake them once again.
The gryphons, however, were not so fortunate. The elves and the gnomes number in their smallest. The unicorn has transformed to an untameable beast. The mermaids have gone. The faeries are in deepest hiding.
Oh Modernity and Maturity, what have you and your pet monkeys done?

Awww….what a heartwarming post! You was a clever kiddy!!!! I can imagine how awesome your pics would be by now!
You remind me a bit of myself you know? But smarter and younger, and with more potential!
It's so true what you say, this modern world has killed so much magic… as has growing up, damnit. It's such a shame we are encouraged to let all that magic from childhood slip through our fingers, instead of holding on to it, as it's when we're in our stressful adult years that we need it the most!
I wish i knew where my old drawings from my childhood were!!! They are probably nowhere as cool as yours though!
Here's to magic and whimsy!

Haha the problem is… I’ve stopped practicing shortly after Uni so I never really artistically grew. If anything I’ve actually gotten worse T_T there isn’t anything I draw now that doesn’t make me cringe.
Aww thanks! You’re one of my idols actually! Wish I could whip out portraits and illustrations as well as you.

I bet you’re awesome at drawing! Circles are a bitch to draw though… I still can’t draw em properly to this day either.

Aww, I'm sure if you get the time to some day you will pick it up again. I myself went through a few drawing free years, and it's only quite recently that i've started practicing again for some reason. It never really leaves you, so never fear! I can definitely understand how it would be hard to fit in the time to devote to such things when you're studying full time..when you get a free moment, you just want to relax… or party! But it will always be there, especially within a mind as creative as yours!
And no worries! naww, i'm not idol worthy!!! Like i say- it's just practice. But thankyou, you're so sweet!
