If two is a company, then three’s a crowd, and good things come in threes right?
Yesterday, the day before Mardi Gras hit Sydney, my friends and I hit the Rocks Markets, and the last time we were all together was during our Japanese exams.

We have since gone to Japan in December, although I was in Osaka, one in Tokyo, and the other in Hokkaido when we were all there at the same time. So today was really a very special day for us. To reminisce, catch up, and everything else in between.

From Circular Quay we then trekked to Wynyard for some Max Brenner. Food for the soul and superglue of all friendships, it was just fitting that we all overloaded on chocolate at the end of a wonderful day. It was so nostalgic, I almost expected one of us to whip out our Japanese textbook and say: “Ok guys, enough bludging. Let’s get some work done!”

It was so sad when we all went our separate ways. One of us is going to Japan to do Masters. Another one is doing Masters in a different university. I mean, we’re all doing our own things this year, we’ve been through hell and back together at uni, and I’ve known one of them since 1st year. It’s not easy to just say goodbye, knowing that this might be the last time in a long time before all three of us are together again.
Three’s a crowd. Two’s a company. One is…

It might be a hard time for the three of you, but just imagine how much worse it would be if there was no internet. I know, I know, keeping in touch via messengers or emails isn't the same as sitting together and drinking hot chocolate, but it's still better than nothing.
I'm in similar situation. We graduate uni in June and after that it will be really hard to keep in touch, even though we all stay in the same city. But we must do our best not to loose the contact.
So cheer up, sweetie and just imagine how cool it might be when you manage to meet during this upcoming year

You’re right. Imagine if we were all back in the 19th Century and it took days, even weeks, for letters to arrive!
At the moment we’re all keeping in touch via Facebook, so it’s still good. But it’s not the same as actual, face to face communication.
Thanks for your comment though. This cheered me up so much <3

It’s easier to keep in touch these days with facebook and blogs and the like. It’s so sad when friends move on and move away though.. usually they come back in flows. It sounds like you always have lots of fun x
