Oh god what a nightmare! After almost 2 weeks of downtime I finally have fragiled up. It’s now fragiled.com, not fragiled.net, because I was having an insanely hard time trying to get my old domain registrar to provide me with an EPP key. Up to now it’s still not resolved, so to save me the headache I just got a new domain name.
But I don’t want to think about that anymore. Why don’t we fly off to happier memories, like what happened on my recent trip to Japan!
DAY 1
Well, Day 1 was pretty interesting. We spent the day in Osaka before heading off to the station for a long bullet train ride to Hiroshima.
First, delicious lunch just a few minute’s walk from our accomodation:

And then it was off to ride the legendary shinkansen.

The scenery that we passed was just breathtaking. It was like nothing I’ve ever seen before. And then Hiroshima rolled by and we had to leave the comfort of the shinkansen.

Hiroshima Peace Park was truly moving. It was touching. There’s no other other word for it. There’s a Museum just a few minute’s walk from the A-bomb dome and in there are all manner of photos, clothing, stories… a lot of people were even moved to tears.
If you ever go to Japan, you must include Hiroshima to your trip.

When we got back to Osaka, we decided to lift the mood a little by going to Amerikamura, where we were dazzled by all the bright lights and noise, and where we fed our rumbling stomachs with delicious food made of awesome.

That’s it for Day 1! I’ll be uploading Day 2 very soon! =D
Oh, and before I forget. Here’s a little something extra:

How beautiful and how much I miss Japan!! When I head back there this year, Hiroshima is definitely a must again. Did you stop by the little island by Hiroshima? I can’t think of the name right off the bat but it’s something like shima-jima or something like that. It’s beautiful there.
I hope you had a blast with the scenery, and most of all, the food!! Did you try the okinomiyaki? they’re Hiroshima’s specialty!

Lucky girl!! I want to visit Japan.. and eat!!
I love the Tudor dynasty but I tried watching The Tudors and couldn’t get into it. It was only the first episode though so I hope it gets better. Do you read Philippa Gregory’s tudor books? Sooo good. It’s what got me hooked in the first place!

Lol yeah. The Tudors is pretty… graphic. First episode is just full of obscene stuff, but it does get better. Great acting, and great eye candy (Henry Cavill and Jonathan Rhys-Meyers in the same room? Ooh yes please!)
I do love Philippa Gregory’s books! Already read The Other Queen and The Other Boleyn Girl. I’m upto The Boleyn Inheritence. I think that she paints some people in a really biased manner though (Jane Rochester and George Boleyn for example), but I guess it’s fiction so I shouldn’t be too harsh lol
