Does anyone else here enjoy Yum Cha as much as I do? It’s only for special occassions: you’ll explode if you have it often in my opinion harharhar! The best ones are in Cabramatta, or so I’ve been told. But since it’s too far away we decided to go to Emperor’s Garden in Chinatown instead.

Tea, century egg congee, chicken rice rolls, and prawn tofu to start off with. Yummmm!

More of the things we ordered, some of which I’m sure will make other people gag. Chicken feet, tripe, pork in beancurd wrapping, bok choy, and salt and pepper squid. I don’t eat chicken feet, but the others were delish!

We tried to flag down the dessert cart heaps of times, but people kept stopping the poor girl. When it finally arrived, we ordered a couple of mango puddings and taho (fresh soft/silken tofu with brown sugar syrup). Excellent to offset any oily or savoury tastes that might still linger in your mouth.
Ughhhh I’ve never felt so stuffed in ages…

Am I the only one that’s ‘meh’ about Yum Cha? I can’t actually measure greatness of it, have I been desensitized? I think it’s all the same. Haha, I’d totally lose that round of MasterChef.
And I don’t like taho. Not enough flavour people!! Add more sugar and we’ll talk about it
