Don’t you wish some things last forever?

I will miss the Quadrangle (also called Hogwarts, the Harry Potter building, the Quad, etc). I will miss sitting underneath the arches, listening to the Jacaranda tree rustle as I try to study instead of nodding off to sleep.

I will miss the graffiti tunnel. I will miss its art and wit. I will miss seeing the tunnel wiped clean and white at the beginning of each year and the thrill of seeing it full of colours again at the end of the year.

I will miss the fugly Carslaw building, which is where I’ve had 90% of my classes over the past 4 years. I will miss waiting outside for Japanese and cramming as much homework as I can with my friends before class starts.

I will miss Azzuris: The best coffee on campus.

And most importantly: I will miss my friends. These are friends who will graduate a year before me. Some have even already graduated (stupid 5 year degree grr…). I know we’ll all keep in touch, but I also know that it won’t be the same. It won’t be the same as the relationship we all shared at uni. Sniping about the amount of work we’ve got. Shuddering at the (3? 4? 5? What’s the last count Rosanne?) guys who were either very weird or very creepy in our classes.

I will miss a lot of things when I leave uni. But I do know what I WON’T be missing though:

Homework. Assessments. Speaking tests. Presentations. EXAMS.
