I sometimes miss being in high school when everything seemed so simple. But then I remember the bad things about being a high school kid and I’m suddenly glad that I’m not anymore haha!

My friend and I went to Capitol, where they have dedicated half a level just on photobooths of every kind it would have made a high school kid shiver with delight. Just stepping off the escalators and seeing these immediately brought back a dozen memories.

They used to have loads and loads more. I remember that it covered almost the whole floor. Maybe it’s the financial crisis, or maybe not many kids do it anymore I don’t know, but now there aren’t that many booths anymore.

Do you remember these cute photobooths from high school? I remember that they used to be very expensive, but my friends and I would save up for the one in Capitol just so we can have a snap of our happiness over the holidays. None of us had camera phones back then, and digital cameras were still ridiculously expensive.

I used to have many of these happy snaps, but I’ve lost them all and I can only find two.

I remember they used to be about $8 in Yr 8. Then it was $10-12 in Yr 11, $15 for the really really good ones. Now the standard is $15-16.
